Specialising in housing, care and support needs for elderly people

Linc Cymru began nursing care in July 2009. Linc has three not for profit, purpose-built nursing homes: Capel Grange in Newport and Ty Coch and Penylan House in Cardiff.

All our homes are registered and fully compliant with Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) Our buildings are designed to meet the needs of the people who live in them, from sensory loss to mobility challenges. We have a very flexible registration which allows us to respond to individual needs including residential care, dementia care, respite services and end of life care.

Trusted to care

We provide high-quality care in a safe, relaxed and homely environment which is sensitive to the ever-changing nature of the people we care for. We recognise that people are individuals and our approach to care is very flexible and centres around the people who live here.

Our experienced multi-disciplinary care team which includes Nurses, Care Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, work together with our residents and their families to formulate individual care plans. We meet regularly with residents and their families to ensure care plans evolve and adapt to ensure people’s needs are continually being met and their well-being optimised. Our Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist are full-time members of the care team and provide expert assessment, support and therapy. This provision is for all residents and is included in the weekly fee.

Our commitment to delivering high-quality person-centred care, is underpinned by the Eden Alternative philosophy. The Eden Alternative focuses on creating person-centred communities which provide residents with a choice in their daily lives. We strive to combat loneliness, helplessness and boredom and provide companionship, well-being, dignity and choice.
